that has been strangled by the jungle. After a picnic lunch we
depart for Koh Ker, the 10th century capital abandoned in the remote
north of Cambodia for more than a thousand years. Our team set up
camp while we enjoy a visit to the pyramid temple of Prasat Thom and
the beautiful jungle covered Prasat Krahom. We finish the day with a
camp fire dinner and camp overnight within the temple area.
(3 hours walking in the temples)
Day 2: Phnom Kulen (B/L/D)
Today we transfer to Phnom Kulen and join the pilgrim path to walk
up this sacred mountain of the Khmers. We have time to swim in the
waterfall and then we carry on to the summit of the mountain to a
pagoda for the overnight camp. We finish the day with a camp fire
dinner and camp overnight on the mountain.
(Option : 3 hours of trekking or transfer to the camp)
Day 3: Sarh Dumrei, Kabal Spean and Banteay Srei
